TAPI stands for Telephone Applications Programming Interface. It's a small piece of software that links the Voipfone service to other software that you may have on your PC such as MS Outlook (or Outlook Express) and some CRM packages (like Sage and Act). With its help you can select the name of the person from your Address Book or Contacts Directory you want to contact and TAPI will connect you to his/her telephone number.
